Halloween is a holiday that is fun, light and enjoyable for most. Teachers usually include costumes, puzzles and games of many kinds. How about including dialog writing based on this holiday? There is a range of great vocabulary that you can teach to ESL students, and interesting discussions about cats, the history of witches, and making costumes for dress-up festivals, to name a few.
Here is a dialog all ready for class, but you can write a quick one for your students, or get them to write them in groups, pairs or on their own, to share with the class.
