Esl Dialog Script

The Doctor is Sick
 In the doctor's rooms:

Nurse:
Dr. Smith, what are  you doing in that chair?   You can't take a nap now! There are ten patients waiting outside in
the  waiting room.

Dr. Smith:
Nurse Sandy, I'm not being lazy. I feel  sick.  I have a terrible headache, and my back hurts!

 Nurse
:
Well what should I do?  Do you want me to tell the patients to go home?

Dr. Smith:
Give me a few minutes.  Maybe I will feel better after a little  rest.  Meanwhile, just tell the patients to relax, and have some coffee and cookies from the visitors' kitchen.
 (After a while)

 Nurse
:
Doctor, what's happening? There are 20 patients in  the waiting room now.

Dr. Smith:
I feel awful.  Perhaps you should call Dr. Johns
to come and see all  the patients.  I need to go home.

Nurse
:
Okay.  (She goes out).  Patients! I am sorry, but Dr. Smith is really sick.
 (Everyone shouts angrily)    Please, calm
down.   I am  sorry but you will have to wait for Dr. Johns to come in.  Doctors also  get sick, you know! Please wait patiently for the other doctor.  He will be able  to see you soon.
