Esl Dialog Script

A cat and dog discuss  their day

Dog:
Isn't it boring for  you, lying on the sofa all day?

Cat:
No, I enjoy resting.  The whole night I stay awake and  catch mice, and meet my friends.

Dog:
I prefer to sleep on John's bed during the night.  He is  a very quiet  sleeper and doesn't know that I am there.

Cat:
Right, you should really sleep  on the rug.

Dog:
Why can you  sleep on the sofa while I have to sleep on the rug?

C
at:
Because I am clean!

 Dog:
That's true, I suppose..

Cat:
But I don't mind if you sleep next to me on the sofa.  I think you  are rather nice and cuddly.

Dog:
Okay...move up.  Aah, what a comfortable sofa!

Cat:
Yes, it is.  Have a good  sleep.

 Dog:
You too.

(The cat curls up next to the dog,  and they both close their eyes and go to sleep)
